CST Multifamily Real Estate Services, LLC, officially opened the new luxury apartment community, The Palms at Sunset Lakes, in the heart of Zachary on Thursday, May 20. The event was held in the new clubhouse with a buffet lunch served after the ribbon cutting officiated with the Zachary Chamber of Commerce. The new 144-unit luxury apartment community is located on 23 acres at 4150 McHugh Road.
“We are proud to be a part of the ever-growing and strong community of Zachary,” said Tom Delahaye, President and CEO, CST Multifamily Real Estate Services. “We have received tremendous response from the community since opening two weeks ago, and have three of our apartment buildings now completed, along with the amenities, and three additional buildings will be completed in early summer,” he added.
The Palms at Sunset Lakes is comprised of four apartment options: Studio, 1-, 2- and 3-bedroom, all with high energy efficiency features. The gated community has wood panel floors, garden tubs, crown molding, granite counters, and washers and dryers in each apartment. The complex offers designer swimming pool, children’s playground, basketball courts, fitness center, yoga room, children’s playroom, clubhouse, pet park and pet washing facility, walking trails, and professional landscaping throughout the property.
The apartment unit rental rates are $995 for a studio, $1075 for a one-bedroom, $1395 for a two-bedroom and $1,600 for a three-bedroom. Tours are being held daily.
Other multifamily properties developed by CST Multifamily Real Estate Services and its subsidiary firm CST Land Developers include The Crossing Apartments, The Palms at Juban Lakes and The Reserve at Jefferson Crossing. Two additional multifamily properties are now under construction in Denham Springs: Morningside and The Reserve at Juban Lakes. The Village at Juban Lakes in Livingston Parish was sold in 2016 and Sonoma Palms in New Mexico was sold in 2021.
The Louisiana-based contractors are Lance Malley, AIA Architect, of The Architectural Studio; Benchmark Group, LLC, civil engineering. Block Construction Company, building contractor. Fidelity Bank of New Orleans provided financing.
Property management for The Palms at Sunset Lakes is provided by CST Multifamily Real Estate Services’ subsidiary, CST Multifamily Group, led by Vice President Judy Pope; and the local manager is Cherelle Crayton.
